Roger Ver Sluis, WB6LVZ passed away from Pancreatic Cancer on July 2, 2005.

Roger was a very active participant in Cactus. His love of amateur radio went hand-in-hand with his love for camping and off-roading. Roger organized and participated in many mountain top work parties. He held several officer positions in Cactus Radio Club and spent many hours doing those necessary "administrative" tasks behind the scenes that were critical to keeping the organization running. Roger was a doer, not a talker.

Roger was the type of person you always looked up to. Always a friend, always willing to help. He was a very kind and giving soul. He will be missed.
