It is with sadness that I have to announce the death of Ken Brown, N7KB. Ken was a long time CARBA member as well a participant in many of the local ham radio related activities in the Tucson area. He recently retired from employment at KVOA-TV (4) where he spent many years at the master control position. He would often be the one to answer the phone when we needed help on the mountain top sites.

Kenneth G. Brown, 56 died February 29, 2000. Husband of Sharon (KA7DAC); father of Susan (Gary) Parrish and Trever (Julie) Brown (KA7UKF); grand father of Joshua, Cassandra, Ashley, Hanna, Heather and Garett; brother of Erma Brown and Robert Brown; son-in-law of Clare Carpenter. Ken was a beloved friend to many. He was preceded in death by his parents Glen and Clara Brown. Funeral Service 1:00 p.m., Saturday, March 4, 2000 at Bring's Broadway Chapel.
