It is with great sadness to report that our friend Gary Dubrosky, KA5KBG passed away this morning (8.11.12) from complications due to cancer.

 He was a complete supporter of Sun City Amateur Radio Club, West Texas Repeater Assoc. and Jacks Peak Amateur Radio Association since around 1985 when he got his license.

 He did enjoy this hobby. He checked to every El Paso net, no matter what band. Even when the 10-X (local El Paso 10M) net started to fail a few years ago, he would be there on 28.440 on Tuesday night at 8pm.

 He did a lot for SCARC…..we will miss him.  As far as CACTUS…man he loved it!!  He was so happy to be a member and loved to attend the JACKS PEAK and CACTUS meetings.
